Meet Our Eye Doctors
Dr. Paul DiFiore established Optique Boutique in 1984 to practice optometry. He built his reputation by being a sensitive and caring individual with genuine desire to help others. Expertise in the field of optometry, along with patient satisfaction skills, enables him to meet today's eye care needs and prepare for the challenges of tomorrow.
Dr. DiFiore, a native of Burlington County, NJ, received a Bachelor of Science Degree at Trenton State College and a Doctorate Degree at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. With Board certification in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania, he is currently practicing optometry in Mount Laurel, NJ.
Dr. DiFiore is a member of both state and local optometric associations, as well as a local member of the Chamber of Commerce and Better Business Bureau. He serves as an adivisory board member for Kremer-TLC Laser Eye Center and also Signet Armorlite, Inc. (the manufacturers of Kodak ophthalmic lenses).
His most recent endeavor was the creation of the Maxam Sunglass Company, which received notoriety from the television show Orange County Choppers. His sunglass line is also the official sunglass for the Off Shore Powerboat Company known as "Cigarette Boats."
Dr. Joanna Welsh has received her undergraduate training at Rutgers University. She earned a second Bachelor of Science Degree in Vision Science and her Doctorate of Optometry degree at Nova Southeastern University.
Dr. Welsh practices full scope optometry and works with patients of all ages. She specializes in ocular disease management including the diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma, cataracts and macular degeneration. She also has extensive experience in dry eye and allergy eye care, as well as specialty contact lens fittings, including bifocal contacts.
Dr. Welsh is an active member of the American Optometric Society and the New Jersey Society of Optometric Physicians.
